More things I learned this past week...

  • It'd be well to remember that professors are real people and go through the same things as you do daily.
  • If you want something, you should ask for it.
  • Personal downtime is more important to your wellbeing than you think.
  • Getting 82% on a test is a good thing, not a bag thing.
  • When you aren't happy with your life, it's okay to assess the things that are bringing you down and get rid of or change them.
  • It's worth making a list of homework assignments in order of their due dates.
  • The Home & Family Dept. consists of some seriously funny people.
    • Shouting is a form of communication to someone more than 10 ft away.
    • A phone call from the next office over is a "high-tech" memo system.
    • Professors hum Beauty and the Beast when it's been on the radio.
    • Napping under the front desk is an acceptable activity.
  • I need to invest in a raincoat, because apparently Rexburg is rainier than I thought.
  • YA fiction is an acceptable favorite genre even when you're an adult.
  • Make sure someone has your number before you send them text messages that are potentially stalker-like.
  • You will run into the guy you like several times a week and say or do something dumb every time.
  • Plans hardly ever go as you expect them to.
  • When a 3-hr long class is canceled it doesn't mean you'll end up going home early.
  • $3 and $5 items add up quickly!
